PAMPA - Edna Jordan, 92, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, in Canyon.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Jim Powell, pastor of Hobart Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.

Mrs. Jordan was born Aug. 13, 1914, in Rockwall County and had been a resident of Pampa since 1948. She married Alvin Jordan on Jan. 5, 1929, in Wellington. He preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of Hobart Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Lloyd Jordan; and a daughter, Lenora Blanche Jordan.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Kay McPhillips and husband John of Conroe and Myrtle Carey of Pampa; a son, Charley A. Jordan of Pittsburg; nine grandchildren, Darrell Carey and wife Linda of Canyon, Sharon Carey of Huntsville, Karen Carter and husband Jerry of Amarillo, Betty Jo Sanders of Pampa, Jay McPhillips and wife Kim of Conroe, Bobbie Annette Jordan of Anahuac and Rita Taft, Tina Jordan and Paul Jordan, all of South Dakota; numerous great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society, in care of Gerry Caylor, 2130 Charles, Pampa, TX 79065.
