Edgar Ballard’s Rites Conducted on Sunday
TABERG — Edgar Ballard, 81, died May 6 in a Rome hospital.
He was born in Taberg Sept. 10, 1872, son of Benjamin and Jennie Agan Ballard. On May 9, 1895, he was married in Taberg to Lillian Banning, who died in 1936.
He had been a farmer during most of his life. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry Fox, Sr., and Mrs. Alfred Lewis, both of Taberg; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 pun. Sunday at the home of Harry Fox, Jr., Taberg, with the Rev. George Stratton officiating.
Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery, Taberg.
Bearers were George Schneible, Walter Fenton, Lawrence Kalk, Sr., Demoine Kirby, Henry Morse, Jr„ Alfred Brown.
