Rev. Dale L. Suiters, age 67, of Wood, went home to be with the Lord Thursday morning at home. He was born in Roaring Spring the son of the late G. Richard Suiters and Romaine (Pressel) Markey. He is survived by 3 children, David Suiters of Altoona, Nicole Sampson and husband Philip of McPherson, KS, and Scott Suiters and wife Katie of Bedford; 3 Grandchildren, Alex, Harper, and Ryker; a brother,Glenn Myers and wife Donna of Bedford; and a sister-in-law, Lois Myers of Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Daniel and a brother, Charles Myers. Dale attended Riddlesburg Church of the Brethren. He was a 1966 graduate of Northern Bedford County High School. Dale was founder and “the skipper” of Tugboat Ministries. He enjoyed trains, sailing, fishing with his granddaughter, aviation, conducting prison ministries, and Sunlite Radio Ministries. Friends will be received from 2 until the 4PM funeral service Sunday, December 20, 2015 in the Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring; Pastor Tim McIntyre officiating. Burial will be made in Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dale's memory may be given to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. (www.thompsonfh.com)
