Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Gardner) Brown.
Loving father of Nancy of Cape Cod and Joseph E. Jr of Stoughton.
Loving brother of Cecelia of Georgia. Cherished grandfather of four. Cherished great grandfather of four.

Services with military honors at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
Mr. Brown was a WII US Navy veteran. He survived the sinking of the USS St. Augustine and was a member of the DAV and VFW.
Prior to his retirement, he was a longtime employee of the US Postal Service and the Registry Department.
