ARMENT, Gary.
Born February 3, 1954 in Van Nuys, CA passed away peacefully in Rosamond, CA on September 2, 2006 at age 52 after a long illness. Preceded in death by father, Carl Arment, brother, Ken Arment, nephew, Mark Arment. Survived by his sons, Dan and Kevin Arment of Colorado, grandson, Josiah Arment of Colorado, mother, Dorothy Arment of Rosamond, brother, Ed Arment, sisters Carol Keeler and Shelley Arment, former wife, Karen Arment of Colorado, sister-in-law Linda Arment of Palmdale, nieces, Traci Murray and Kim Young, and nephews, Rick Murray and Michael and Darren Arment. Gary grew up in Pacoima and graduated from San Fernando High School. He worked at the GM plant in Van Nuys for 18 years until it closed. He was a kind and generous person, and a long-time activist for the Democratic Party. Gary loved his family and friends, his guitar, Beatles music, baseball, NASCAR races, The 70's Show, his computer, and watching WWII documentaries. Gary was loved and will be missed. Viewing will be held on September 13, 2006 from 4pm to 8pm in the chapel at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall. Services will be held on September 14, 2006 at 11am. Joshua Memorial Park Mortuary Directors.
