Born on December 27, 1927 in Joplin, Missouri. She moved to California with her husband Carl in 1945 after he left the U.S Navy/Marines, together they raised 5 children. Dorothy absolutely loved her family and many friends. She would enjoy many trips to the desert with her longtime companion David Dail, and loved the Antelope Valley. Her guilty pleasure was watching Wheel of Fortune.

Dorothy is survived by daughters, Carol Keeler and Shelly Arment; son, Ed Arment; eight grandchildren, many great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by husband, Carl Arment; sons, Ken Arment and Gary Arment; and longtime companion, David Dail.
