Mrs. Stella Sturgeon Passes Away
Mrs. Stella (Lambert) Sturgeon, 67, formerly of Benton county, died at the home of her only daughter, Mrs. Leslie Johnston, at Knox, with whom she had been making her home.
She was the widow of Albert Sturgeon, whom she married Sept. 2, 1896 in Benton Co., IN. Mr. Sturgeon died in 1938. She was a member of Bethany Christian church.
Surviving with the daughter is a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Nelson and a brother, Frank Lambert of Fowler.
Funeral services were held at Mount Gilboa church this last Wednesday, with interment in the Church cemetery.
