Polly's mother Martha Spicer #209308150 (first wife of Ozem Brewster) died November 1779 leaving four children. 1) Stephen #6264363 born 4 May 1770 Groton, New London, Ct -- he was raised in Groton by his Spicer grandparents Oliver and Althea Allyn Spicer; 2) Ozem Brewster, Jr. #35380990 born May 1773 in Salisbury, Litchfield Co., Ct; 3) Polly Brewster 1775 -1777) probably in Salisbury, Litchfield, Ct; 4) Jonathan or Johnston Brewster #9797759 born 4 Mar 1779 (conceived about Jun 1778). Ozem Brewster, Sr. served in the Rev. War under Capt. Oliver Potter's Company, Col. Seth Warner Regiment that invaded Canada in 1775. (see page 302 Rolls of Vt. Soldiers in the Rev War 1775-1783).
