NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Inez Lovelace Ferguson entered into rest on Monday, June 18, 2007 at National Health Care. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Lakemont Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ryan Fisk officiating, assisted by Mr. John Tabb. Burial services will be in Virginia, attended only by her family, as Mrs. Ferguson had requested. Born on October 14, 1915 in Johnson City, Tennessee, she made the Augusta area her home since 1948. Mrs. Ferguson was a charter member of Lakemont Presbyterian Church where she remained active until age and ill health prohibited her attendance. She had retired from Sears as a department manager. Mrs. Ferguson was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Ferguson, and her twin daughters, Joyce and Janeth Ferguson. She is survived by her three sons, Jerry (Iris) Ferguson, Gordon (Kathy) Ferguson, and Donald (Karen) Ferguson, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one brother, Harmon Lovelace. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the staff of National Health Care in North Augusta, especially Magnolia Wing, for the excellent care and extreme kindness they gave Mrs. Ferguson and her entire family during the past six weeks.
