Born about 1814, mother unknown, Danny Larr was a son of Laurence Collins (1783 - 1867). The family lived in Adrigool, outside Skibbereen. Danny Larr married Mary Mahony of Bredagh in 1845. They moved to Cullomane East about 1850.
