John Wilson Jones was the son of William Jones and LURENA STRONG. He married Eliza Oakleya on Jan, 29, 1833 in Floyd County, VA.
John left NC and settled in Franklin County, VA and finally settled in Wythe County, VA.
He is buried in the Williams Cemetery but no tomb stone is present. His grave may be marked by a simple stone. Family tradition says he is buried there with his wife, Eliza Oakley Jones.
