LEBO Donna Lea Lyman, 84, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Kelly House of Meriden. She was born June 25, 1931 in Arvonia, Kansas, the daughter of Louis G. and Della R. Lewis King.

Donna attended grade school at Arvonia and later graduated from Lebo High School with the Class of 1949.

Donna worked for the Lebo Enterprise during high school. She later went on to work at Hallmark Cards and as a lineotype operator for the Emporia Times and Emporia Gazette. She would eventually retire from Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Plant where she worked as a clerk.

She was joined in marriage to Harvey Frank Lyman on April 1, 1961. They would enjoy 48 years of marriage until his death on September 27, 2009.

Donna will remain in the hearts of her daughter, Brenda K. Smith and husband Brian of Meriden, Kansas; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Pat Knight of Lebo and sister-in-law, Alyce King of DeSoto, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo. Burial will follow services at Lincoln Cemetery in Lebo. The family will receive friends from 6:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Basic Cancer Research, Midland Care or The Kelly House of Meriden and sent in care of the funeral home.
