Will was the son of John Leonard Cheek and Sarah Francis "Fannie" Mitchell. He married three times: Ruth Blanchard on February 8, 1914, Ethel Blackburn on July 12, 1919, and Hattie Yandell on October 6, 1923. Will and Ruth Blanchard had one daughter Fern, Will and Ethel Blackburn had one son Malcolm B. Cheek and Will and Hattie Yandell had two sons Wilton and Theil.

Will Cheek

Funeral service for Will Cheek, 68, was held Sunday, October 7 at 3:30 p.m. at the Waldron First Baptist Church with Rev. Truman Spurgin and Rev. Harmon Allen officiating. Burial was at Sehorn Cemetery under direction of Rice Funeral Home.

Mr. Cheek, a retired farmer, died suddenly on Friday. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Wilton of Heavener; Malcolm of Peoria, Illinois, and Theal of San Bernardino, California; one daughter, Mrs. Fern Piles of Waldron; four brothers, Tom Cheek, Waldron; Omer, Reedley, California; Claude, Oklahoma City; and Olin, of Madera, California; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Oliver, Redland, California, and Mrs. Elma Hunt, Waldron; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
