3/14/2021 My Great Uncle Art was a salty, funny character. His parents & 2 sisters moved from Goodland to LA city in the 1930s. He was a US Navy Vet (WW II) & after settling in the 17-city area of LA County known as the "South Bay", he worked in the local aerospace industry.
Uncle Art married 3 times. He had 2 girls (listed below) with his first wife, Mildred VOGAN Cullins, who passed away shortly after their 2nd child was born. Several years later he married Hazel Miller, of Goodland, KS. They moved to Los Angeles, CA, around 1940/1941. Sadly, Hazel died in an LA hospital from a serious illness the day after 39th birthday. Sometime between 1948 to 1951, Art met & married Pauline "Polly" __?___, from __?__ (one of the Southern states). They were happily married for many years & resided in a lovely home with a beautiful garden in Hawthorne, CA, 90250, until his passing.
