89, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015. She worked at the old Selman’s Department Store as head cashier, after which she married, and raised her 5 children. She also worked as cashier at the neighborhood Convenient Food Mart. She is a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and a former member of the choir.
Aileen is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Woerner; mother, Aileen Schoen Staab; father, Edward Staab; stepmother, Hilda Staab Whaley: and a sister, Mary Doughty.
She is survived by her children, Elaine Woerner (Tom Kennedy), Freda Woerner, Ruth MacGregor (Kent), Mary Bunch (Al), and Paul Woerner; siblings, Margaret McGinty, Dottie Mix, Pat Nash (Bob), Shirley Thieneman (Leo), Kitty Passafiume (Jack), Edward J. Staab (Liz), and Rick Staab (Karen); grandchildren, Abby MacGregor Hamman (Chad), Morgan MacGregor, Maria Kennedy, Will Kennedy, and Andrew Woerner (Maggie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
