Frances Mae Snider, 96, Clinton, MO, died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 12, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Consalus-Bradley Chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Taberville, MO. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She was born October 21, 1906, in Taberville to James and Laura Mae Lemon Anderson. Mrs. Snider was a member of the Parks Chapel Baptist Church. On October 30, 1922, she married Walter G. Snider in Nevada, MO. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1970.
Surviving are five sons, Clyde Snider of Tightwad, Donald Snider and wife, Rosella, of Tightwad, Clifford Snider and wife, Sharon K., of Lincoln, Keith Snider of Nevada, and Garry Snider and wife, Sandra, of Tightwad; nine daughters, Thelma Maxine Richter of Grandview, Claudine Champ and husband, Al, of Raymore, Vernetta Clark of Adrian, Marjorie Kincheloe of Kansas City, Shirlene Terry and husband, G.L., of Branson, Bonnie Bailey and husband, Jerry, of Lee's Summit, Gwendolyn Perry and husband, Robert, of Grandview, Charlotte Ray Gillespie and husband, Larry, of Kansas City, Gail R. Vaughn and husband, Herschel, of Clinton; 48 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; and 31 great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, one son, Lloyd Snider, one daughter, Virginia Frances Preston, one sister, Rosie Prough, one brother, Ben Anderson, two grandsons, Larry Clark and Dennis Preston, and one great-greatgranddaughter, Whitney Plumlee. The family suggests memorial gifts to the Parks Chapel Baptist Church in care of Consalus-Bradley Chapel.
