Leo Benjamin Nickols passed away May 15, 1975. He was a resident of (Hwy. 36) Carlotta; husband of Anna Nickols of Carlotta; father of Mrs. Donald (Audrey) McRoberts of Rohnerville, Mrs. Harold Wallan of Rohnerville; brother of Albert Nickols of Ruth.

He is survived by numerous relatives including six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a native of Fall River Mills, age 80 years.

He was a life time member of Sunset Post, No. 2207 VFW of Fortuna. For many years he ran the Nickols Grocery Store in Rohnerville, until his retirement in 1962.

Mr. Nickols served in the Army in World War I.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary Saturday, May 17, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Fred Muster officiating.

Interment will follow at the Rohnerville IOOF Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Doug Edgmon, Bill Hall, Tim Fielder, Don Chism, Harold Johnson and Tim Smith.

Friends may call at the chapel of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary Friday 2-5 p.m., 7-8:30 p.m.
