1850 U.S. Federal Census; Nankin, Wayne, MI:
John Chatfield, Age 58, Born Circa 1792, Massachusetts.
Wife Anna Chatfield (a.k.a. Mary Ann Eisenlord-Morrison-Chatfield), age 58. Son, Henry R. Chatfield, Age 8, born circa 1842, New York. (John, Mary Ann, Henry were staying with her Parents Peter and Mary Elizabeth Eisenlord (mis-spelled Izenlora)at that time.

Peter Eisenlord died in 1851 and his will, probated in Nankin, Wayne, MI, mentions Mary Ann Eisenlord, his daughter, his grandson Henry, and John Chatfield to my knowledge. (After that point I find no further record on Henry Chatfield).

In 1854, after Peter Eisenlord died, Mary and John Chatfield sold some land they had in Nankin to Mary Ann's brother Spencer Eisenlord (which is on the books.)

1860, U.S. Federal Census, Almont, Lapeer, MI: John Chatfield, age 67, born 1800, NY; Mary A Chatfield, age 50, born NY, Lemuel (Samuel) Chatfield, 17, born 1843, NY; Lovina Chatifield, 13, born 1847, NY.

1870, U.S. Federal Census, Almont, Lapeer, MI: John Chatfield, age 77, born 1796, Connecticut; Mary A. Chatfield, age 70, born 1800, Massachussets; (son Samue died in Almont, Lapeer, MI on 20 May 1867). In 1870, Harriet Morrison (Mary Ann's daughter by John Morrison) was staying with the Chatfield's along wither her three children Alice Olive Dean, James B. Dean, Augusta E. Dean).

Harriet Morrison, at that time, appears to have been separated from her husband William Dean. When Alice O. Dean was married (a few months before) to Silas P. Hill of NY (Silas was the son of Hannah Chatfield of Almont and I suspect that she must have been related to John) Harriet Morrison and John Chatfield were witnesses to the marriage.

John Chatfield died 27 Dec 1875 in Almont, Lapeer, MI.

There is one more census, 1880, listing Mary Ann Chatfield as a boarder in Marathon, Lapeer, MI. It's feasible that Mary Ann Chatfield either spent her remaining years in Almont, Lapeer, MI but it's also possible that she moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan after John Chatfield died as that is where her Daughter Harriet-Morrison-Dean lived - as did other members of that particular family.
