Sarah Eliza Dixon was the daughter of James B. Dixon and Cynthia E. McKaimy (McKamey, McKamy, etc.). On 13 June 1851, she married Jasper Newton Dunaway. Sarah and Jasper Newton Dunaway had 6 children: James Clementine Dunaway* (1852-1930); Martha Belle G. Dunaway (1855-1879); John Newton Dunaway (1857-1933); Bettie Ewing Dunaway (1858-1933); Sudie N. Dunaway* (1862-1924); and William Henry Dunaway* (1865-1937). Several of their children (*) moved to Wise & Kaufman counties, Texas.
