Mrs. Simrall was born and reared in Vicksburg. She graduated from Cooper High School and Mississippi State College for Women. She lived in Starkville for 29 years and had been a Vicksburg resident for the past 10 years.
She was preceded in death by a husband, Ernest Seago, and her parents, Calton and Linda Bell Bruce.
She is survived by her husband, Newell Simrall of Redwood; one son, John Seago of Vicksburg; four stepsons, Mark Simrall and Karsten Simrall, both of Redwood, Newell Simrall IV of Jackson and Daniel Ferguson of Vicksburg; a stepdaughter, Rea Leist of Redwood; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Church of the Holy Trinity with the Rev. Michael Nation officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Memorial Garden Park in Starkville. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the service.
Pallbearers will be Emmitt Smitherman, Ernie George, John Jordan, Dr. Ray Orgler, Keith Winfield and Wayne Tubb.
