KRAMER MARY THERESE KRAMER (nee Cachat), age 88, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Main Street Towne Center in Avon Lake. She was born on May 24, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to Leo and Zita (nee Joliet) Cachat and graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1945. Mary loved raising her 14 children and adored being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked beside her husband, John, as a co-founder for Kramer's Landscaping. Mary always found time to volunteer to her church and community. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Bernadette Church in Westlake and taught Religion classes to special needs children. She enjoyed feeding the poor and homeless at St. Augustine Church and Hunger Center in Cleveland. Mary is survived by her children, John (Diane), Robert (Eileen), James (Nora), Thomas, Kenneth (Christine), Daniel (Stephanie), David (Joale), Kathleen (Michael) Pack, Maryann (Brian) Fallon, Karen (Wayne) Kawecki, Patricia (Frank) Quinn, Janet (William) Modrow and Ann Kothawala; 30 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren; brothers, Francis Cachat, Victor Cachat, and Reverend Father Leo Cachat. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John R. Kramer in March of 2015; her son, William; granddaughter, Lisa Kramer; parents, Leo and Zita Cachat; sister, Alice; and brothers, Edward, Louis and David. The Kramer family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the DOVIN AND REBER JONES FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTER, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 708 Erie Street, Grafton. Rev. Fr. Leo Cachat, brother of Mary, will officiate and Rev. Fr. John Seabold, Pastor, will concelebrate. (Please meet at Church). Inurnment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland. The family suggest contributions be made in memory of Mary to the Jesuit International Missions, 2050 North Clark Street, Chicago, Illinois 60614-7719.
