Abraham Weill, also known as Abram, born about 1844–45 in France, the son of Joseph Louis Weill and "Martha [/sic/] Hess," died Wednesday, 5 July 1922, in Queens County, New York, aged seventy-seven years. His wife, Rosa Benjamin Weill, and five children—Jules Weill, Harry Weill, Mattie Weill, Julia Goldsmid, and Clementine Isaac—survived him. Relatives; friends; "members of John A. Kennedy Lodge, No. 403, I. O. O. F., and Hosea Lodge, No. 37, I. O. F. S. of I."; "members of Shaare Berochah"; "members of Frauen Verein Community Israelite Francaise"; and "members and seatholders of Temple Israel of the City of New York" were invited to attend his funeral Friday, 7 July 1922, to be held "from his late residence, 225 Elbertson St. (old 8th St.), Elmhurst, L. I."
