Minnie Thelma Dority, age 89 of Pine Avenue, Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday morning, December 6, 2015 at Blue Ridge Hospice in Winchester, VA.
Born October 26, 1926 in Moorefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin Combs & Rebecca Anna (Cain) Combs.
Her husband, Acie James Dority preceded her in death in February 1949. Four brothers and five sisters also preceded her in death.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, enjoyed traveling for dancing with family and friends, cooked for the family and friends as she so enjoyed entertaining and cherished her time caring for her grandchildren. She loved working outside tending to her flowers but most of all she was a loving mother and father after the death of her husband.

Surviving is a daughter, Marada Cornwell of Moorefield, WV; a son McClave Combs of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Overton Combs of Moorefield, WV; six grandchildren; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Donnie Kesner officiating. Interment will follow at the Baldwin Cemetery near Moorefield.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 PM & 6 – 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
