Mother of William Alfred Mullins , Grandmother of Lillian Mullins Powell and wife of Jackson Russell Mullins who was a Confederate soldier in the Civil War and fought at Gettysburg July 1-3, 1863. His unit then went to Maryland for the Battle of Falling Waters where he was captured on July 14, 1863. He was sent to the Old Capitol Prison in Washington, DC. He died while in captivity from smallpox leaving Editha a young widow with 3 small children who later married
Thomas "Tom" Jefferson Nations and had eight more children with him. She was 86 yrs olds and is buried next to Thomas.
