Mrs. Lucille Abbott Reid, age 85 of Clay Township Michigan, formerly of Brilliant, passed away on Friday, December 4th, 2015 at her residence in Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Dewey and Nora Sexton Abbott, her husband, Horace Jack Reid, a daughter, Diane Chapman, and a sister, Virginia McCarn. She is survived by her Children, James (Diane) Reid, Jack Reid, Susan (Anthony) Peterson, and John (Kelly) Reid, 13 Grandchildren and great grandchildren, and siblings, J.D. Abbott, Tommy Wood, and Roy Abbott. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10th from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in the Brilliant Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield serving the Reid family. More detailed obituary information soon to follow.
