Sue was a teacher for over 50 years, last working at Holy Family School, Nazareth. Previously, she was a teacher for St. Henry's, Philadelphia, St. John the Baptist, Haycock Run, St. Bonaventure, Philadelphia and St. Joseph's, Wilmington, DE. She graduated from Easton High School Class of 1946 and attended Villanova University. Sue's life was devoted to teaching children. She enjoyed trips to casinos to play the slot machines, reading and crossword puzzles. Sue was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Easton.
She is survived by a brother, Paul Albus and his wife Joan, of Bethlehem; a sister, Rosemary Straub and her husband Charles, of Tatamy; a sister-in-law, Eva Albus, of Easton; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, John H. Albus, and two sisters, Margaret Pilz and Joanne Albus Stafford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 129 Davis Street, Easton. Call Wednesday 9-10am in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's New Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton.
