He was born on October 10, 1920 in Dallas to Albert and Augusta (Oelschlegel) Lafitte.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Delores and son Patrick.
He is survived by his grandaughters Helen Lafitte, Michelle Lafitte and daughter-in-law Betsy Lafitte.
Albert drove an 18 wheeler for his company A&D Trucking for over 60 years, retiring at 88.
Visitation will be Friday, December 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with military honors will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
