It is believed that Catherine may be the daughter of Larue Jacob Truax/Truex and Abigail Rebecca Stillwell however no records or documentation has been found which substantiates this claim. It is not known if Catherine was indeed a Truax. There is speculation that she may have been Catherine Johns. However, if the Maryland marriage information for Catherine Johns and a Jeremiah Stillwell is correct, Catherine Johns cannot be the wife of "this" Jeremiah Stillwell but was the wife of another Jeremiah. The dates in the record do not work. Also, the names of their children do not coincide with the names of the children of Jeremiah as proven in court documents.
