Edna Lorraine Simpson, 91, of Huntington, WV passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born January 4, 1924 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Wade and Virginia "Jennie" Hayton Thompson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Nile Stanley Simpson whom she enjoyed 66 plus years of marriage; two sons Nile J. Simpson and Larry E. Simpson; and five grandchildren. She is survived by her children Gary (Katy) Simpson of Proctorville, Ohio, David Simpson and Jan of Downsville, LA and Linda McIntire of Garden City, MI; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. She loved her family and friends very much. She was a homemaker her whole life and a member of Prince of Peace Church, Westmoreland, WV. Per Mrs. Simpson she will be cremated and her final resting place will be at Miller Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Ron Eastham officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
