Mrs. Bertha E. Glisson, age 82. of Shirley, Route 2, died at 4:30 J a. m. Monday in Hancock Memorial Hospital after an illness of two weeks. Mrs. Glisson was born in Franklin county, the daughter of George and Clementine Butler Stewart. She had been a resident of the Mohawk and Willow Branch communities for the pacst 60 years and was the widow of Edward Glisson. Surviving are two children, Charles R. Glisson, Shirley, Rt. 2, and Mrs. Frank DeGranrut, of Cambridge City. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Cora Wilson, Laurel; three half-sisters, Mrs. Flora Chance, Milton, Mrs. Nick Hahn, Connersville, and Mrs. Josephine Curry, Metamora; a half-bother, Benjamin Swartz, Milton; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted from the Pasco Memorial Mortuary at 2 p. m. Wednesday with Rev. Lowell Listenberger in charge. Burial will take place in Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary afternoon Tuesday.
