JOHNNIE TOLISON
February 1, 1927 ~ September 3, 1992

Johnnie Tolison, 65, of Haworth, died Thursday at his home.

He was born Feb. 1, 1927, in Annona, Texas, and had spent most of his life in McCurtain County.

He was a logger and a member of the Bokhoma Baptist Church.

He and Margie Steen were married Nov. 12, 1978, in Nashville, Ark.

He is survived by his wife, Margie, of the home; six sons, Leon Tolison and Ed Tolison, both of Lyndon, Texas, Artie Tolison and Donavon Tolison, both of Velma, Oklahoma, Greg Tolison of Idabel, and David Tolison of Idabel; one daughter, Elvona Tolison of Pauls Valley;

Three stepsons, Clifford Collins of Winnsboro, Texas, Don Morrow of Idabel, and Charles Morrow of Big Springs, Texas;

One brother, Joe Tolison of Horatio, Ark.; eight sisters, Ethele Thomas of Cerrogordo, Maggie Byrd of Dallas, Texas, Myrtle Frattie of Horatio, Ark., Maudie Gibson of Alverado, Texas, Nona Tucker of Shreveport, La., Valvie Nolte of Ashdown, Ark., Shirley Tunnel of Moon, and Louise Friend of Bokhoma; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Bokhoma Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Richmond officiating.

Burial will be in Haworth Cemetery under direction of Nation Funeral Home of Idabel.
