Rosalie Bondi Canezaro was one of four children (Tony, Diego, and Mrs. D. Dendi) born to Phillip (Fillippo) Bonzi and his wife in Italy. Rosalie was united in marriage in Italy in 1889 to Benedict (Beneditto) Canezaro. Rosalie and her husband left for the US after their marriage, arriving in 1890. Her sister and brother Diego also immigrated to the US.

Rosalie and Benedict were blessed with the birth of 12 children during their 41 year marriage:
