Benedict Canezaro was one of the sons born to Samuel Canezaro and his wife Constance. Benedict was worked as a farmer for the majority of his work life after arriving in the US. Benedict arrived in the US in 1890 with his wife Rosalie and became a naturalized US Citizen on April 13, 1923.

Benedict was united in marriage in 1889 in Italy to Rosalie Bondi. Benedict and Rosalie were blessed with the birth of 12 children during their 41 year marriage:
