Born in Quincy, FL on February 14, 1950, daughter of the late David and Simmie-Lee (Porter) Keaton she was raised in Quincy, FL before moving to Hartford with her family and then to West Hartford 35 years ago.
Addreen was a graduate of Hartford Public High School and after her graduation she continued her education at the Morse School of Business.
A retiree of Trinity College, Addreen had worked in dietary services for over 30 years before her retirement in 2000.
One of ten children, Addreen's parents passed away at a young age and she helped to raise her younger brothers and sisters after her parents death.
She was a very loving, caring and supportive person who was very devoted to her family and her faith. She was a member of the First Church of God in Hartford where she was an active part of the life of the church.
In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and cooking for her family and friends, especially her famous lasagna, chicken, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens.
Besides her loving husband of almost 40 years, she leaves to mourn her passing, a daughter, a stepson, six brothers, five grandchildren, a great-grandson, two brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, two special nieces, an uncle, an aunt, her Goddaughter, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by two brothers, David and Charles Keaton; a sister, Hazel Keaton; and a granddaughter, Parise Keaton.
