Mr. Sauls was born in Columbia, Mississippi to the late W.S. and Mattie Sauls, Sr. Mr. Sauls served his country as a member of the Seabee's in the United States Navy. He was a faithful member of Brookleigh Baptist Church where he sang in the choir and was the grounds keeper of the church. He worked offshore as a welder for Marine Drilling and retired after 35 years. Glynn was very witty and could always keep people laughing. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and several siblings. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Mable Sauls; son, Johnny (Jeannie) Sauls of Corinth; brother, Billy Raye Sauls of Monticello; sister, Dorothy Jean Martin of Texas; grandchildren, Patrick Sauls and Caleb Sauls, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He also leaves his faithful companions, his pups, Gabby and Angel to cherish his memory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
