Mrs. Elva Motsinger Hedgecock, 102, former resident of High Point died Wednesday afternoon at Shannon Gray Rehab Center.
Mrs. Hedgecock was born April 28, 1913 in Guilford County a daughter of Frank and Carrie Hines Motsinger. She had been a resident of High Point and vicinity her entire life. Mrs. Hedgecock was a member of Abbotts Creek Baptist Church. She was married to Norman Cletus Hedgecock who preceded her in death in 1997.
Surviving are 2 sons; Barry Hedgecock and wife Patricia of High Point and Jimmie Hedgecock and wife Brenda of Clemmons; 3 Grandchildren; Lori LaBor and husband Tom and Eric Hedgecock both of High Point; and Christopher Hedgecock and wife Julia of Winston Salem.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Abbotts Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Mark O. Hollar and Dr. Joe D. Coltrane. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. (Edited by Jeff Lovelace.)
