Sweetwater - Clyce Gary Smith, about 54, of Metairie, La., died at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday in a Houston hospital. The body will arrive in Sweetwater at 4:25 a.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Patterson's Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, with the Rev. Tom Huser, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, who is the former Gladys Johnson, daughter of J. M. Johnson of Sweetwater; a son, Dwaine Smith of the U.S. Navy; a sister, Mrs. Sammy Baugh of Rotan; a brother, Perry Smith of Pennsylvania; and his mother, Mrs. Gary Smith of Rotan.
