GREENFIELD – Letha I. (Butler) Redmon, age 90, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Greenfield. She was born on April 6, 1925 in Haldeman, KY as the daughter of John H. and Stella (Egan) Butler. Letha married William “Eddie” Edgar Redmon on November 15, 1945 in New Castle, IN.

She and her husband owned and operated Redmon Auto Sales from 1954-1989 and were also the owners of Eddie’s Drive-In Restaurant. She was a member of Church of God. She was the past secretary of the singles club at the senior center. Letha enjoyed playing cards, fishing, quilting, crafts and traveling. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Letha is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Larry) Lane of Greenfield; son, Bill (Donna) Redmon of Greenfield; brothers, John Paul Butler, Carl Butler, Hayden Butler, Ray Butler and Harold Butler; sisters, Charlene Jensen and Sheila Rawlins; grandchildren, Kelly, Todd, Candi, Gary and Matt; 14 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren and two on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Stella (Egan) Butler; husband, William “Eddie” Redmon; brothers, Arnold Butler, Leon Butler and Richard Butler; and sister, Naomi Jackson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., at the mortuary. Russ Hooker will be officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
