Services for Delia F. Flippin, 94, of Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna, Ill., formerly of Meacham Lane in Paducah, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lindsey funeral home.
Chris Miller will officiate. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Flippin died at 2:20 p.m. Sunday at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis, Ill.
Mrs. Flippin is a native of San Marcos, Texas, was a member of Broadway Church of Christ.
Surviving are a daughter, Margie Youngblood of Paducah; three sons, Jim Flippin of Ash Flat, Ark., Francis Flippin of Buffalo, Mo., and Troy Flippin of Lakewood, Calif., a brother Lloyd Brock of Rockdale, Texas;two sisters, Addie Hughes of Baird, Texas, and Louella Allen of Houston, Texas; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Flippin was preceded in death by her husband, Don Flippin; one son, Eugene Flippin; two daughters, Ruby Beavers and Lois Flippin; three brothers and three sisters. Her parents were Bowman and Nellie Massey Brock.
