She attended school in Fountain Green and graduated from Moroni High School. She attended Snow College in Ephriam, Utah and LDS Business College in Salt Lake City.
Kenna married Victor James Rasmussen on February 4, 1942 in the Manti Temple.
Kenna has always been active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served well in the different auxiliary organizations of the church. She started singing in the ward choir at age 17. She sang in the choir for many years until her voice wouldn't let her.
Kenna always served in her community. Mom and Dad worked together helping with Lamb Day when Dad was on the Lamb Day committee. Mom was over the breakfast for many years. She loved working in her flower garden, and enjoyed being outside.
Kenna worked in the school lunch program for North Sanpete for 15 years.
In 1986, Mom and Dad were called to be ordinance workers in the Manti Utah Temple. Mom was a supervisor and Dad was a sealer.
Kenna was a wonderful and kind mother and grandmother. Kenna has 21 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Kenna is survived by her 5 children, Kathryn (Gary) Williams; Kathleen (Mitchell) Christensen; Lewis (Alta Lynn) Rasmussen; Merrill (Kathy) Rasmussen; Lynn (Hallie) Rasmussen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Victor (1999), her 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.
There will be a viewing November 18, at the Fountain Green LDS Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00. The funeral will be November 19, at 11:00 with a viewing prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 at the church. Interment in the Fountain Green City Cemetery.
