" William J. "Bill" Ennest, our loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Cartwright Care Center, Saginaw. Age 89 years. William J. Ennest was born March 2, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Myron John and Marie Bridgit (Higgins) Ennest. He married on January 3, 1942 at St. Patrick Church in Palms, Michigan. Bill was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus. He had a long and distinguished career in the financial services industry. A brother, Myron J. Ennest Jr, preceded him in death.

A funeral liturgy for Bill will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Fr. David L. Parsch will officiate, with entombment to follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery and Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Bill will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. A Vigil for Bill will be prayed on Friday at 8:30 p.m. under the direction of Sr. Marie Markel, IHM. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Cartwright Care Center or Holy Spirit Catholic Church."
