.Clavis Hensley, age 72 of Logan departed this life on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Logan Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. Born April 20, 1943 at Mudfork, he was the son of the late Noah and Weltha Workman Hensley, he was also preceded in death by his wife Carol Ann Hensley in 1999, and other family members.
Clavis was a disabled truck driver for Ashland Oil Company.
He is survived by three sons, Daniel (Pauline) Hensley of Logan, Clavis Ray (Debbie) Hensley of Harts, and Donald Eugene Hensley of Logan, one daughter Angela Carol (Ralph) Collins of Switzer, two brothers Eugene (Rose) Hensley of McConnell and Alvin Lee (Nellie) Hensley of Sod, one sister Madeline Lawson of Sod, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Honaker Funeral Home in Logan with Ted Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV.
Friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00 on Thursday at the funeral home.
