Graveside services for James "Bob" Robert Bright, age 76, of Tyler, will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler with Rev. Gerry Giles officiating, under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Bright passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.

He was born June 6, 1939, in Tyler, Texas to Sam and Mary Bright. He was a member of the Marvin United Methodist Church. He attended Tyler High School and received his BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas. Bob was retired from Fair Oil Company. He was very involved in the Church, an avid hunter, he traveled across America on his bicycle and Harley, and he loved wood working, along with restoring and repairing things. He was a huge Longhorn fan!

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sam Bright, Jr.

He is survived by a loving family including his wife of 55 years, Kathryn Wray Bright; daughters, Kimberly Henderson (and husband Bob) and Tiffany Knight (and husband Will); grandchildren, Lauren and Drew Wilder (and wife Rita), Allie, Claire, Kate and Jack Henderson; one great-grandson, Drew Wilder, II and one Brother, John Bright.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Knowles, Bob Henderson, Will Knight, John Hills, Pat Dyer, Joe McMahan, Jim Culver, John Bright, Drew Wilder, Jack Henderson, Harold Carter, Jeff Heller and Chris Jones.

He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marvin United Methodist Church, 300 W. Erwin Street, Tyler, TX 75702 or Alzheimer's Alliance of Smith County, 211 Winchester Drive, Tyler, TX 75701.
