Edwards, who died on April the fifth,
1947, were held at Rock Creek Cemetery,
Washington, D. C. the morning
of April the eighth. Mrs, Edwards
was ninety-two years old and for
fifty-four years of her life she was a
resident of East Green street, West-
minster. She was related to families
prominent in West Virginia and Virginia.
Her father was Allan McCormick
of Union County, now West
Virginia and her grandfather was
John McCormick of Rockingham
County, Virginia. On her mother's
side she was related to the Alfords
and Chewnings.
Two sons survive, the Reverend
Evan Alexander Edwards of St. Petersburg,
Florida, and John Bowen
