She was born March 17, 1920 in Bingham, NE, the daughter of Stanley and Ida Hill Burke. She was raised on a ranch with 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
She was united in marriage to Jesse C. Steele in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1991. Her children; Bonnie, Donna, Linda and Debbie.
They moved to Midwest, WY in the 1950s where Mr. Steele went to work in the oil fields. She was very involved in the activities of her children and sold Home Interiors for 20 years. She enjoyed doing flower arrangements for different occasions.
She was known as "Grandma Pat" by all children. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile.
She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Inman (1939 – 2001), one grandson and a great granddaughter.
