Vera E. Sagarsee, 84, of Linton, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015 at Garden Villa in Bloomington. She was born in Logansport on April 2, 1931 to William E. and Vera Evelyn (Glassburn) Richardson.
Vera attended the Church of God in Linton. She worked as a nurses’ aid at Glenburn NURSING HOME before her retirement in 1993.
Survivors include: three sons, John (Becky) Sagarsee of Brazil, Tim (Angie) Sagarsee, of Jasonville, Sam (Jackie) Sagarsee of Terre Haute; ONE daughter, Melissa (Eric) Fleetwood of Spencer; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one brother, Jesse (Charlene) Richardson of Onward.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
FUNERAL SERVICESwill be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor Jerry Ross officiating. Vera will be laid to rest in the Ever Rest Memorial Park at Logansport.
Family and friends may call from 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12 at the FUNERAL HOME.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Vera. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
All arrangements have been entrusted to James W. Meng, Jr. and the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton. Online condolences may be sent to www.andersonpoindexter.com.
