A. GLORIA HINDLE, 74, of Knollcrest Drive, a worker in the administrative offices of the Cumberland School Department for 22 years, died yesterday in the Oakland Grove Nursing Center, Woonsocket.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Omer and Lydia (Lemieux) Allard. She resided in Cumberland for the last 34 years, previously living on Columbia Avenue, Pawtucket, for several years.
She worked at Cumberland High School, the Community School and St. Joan's Elementary School prior to retiring in 1994.
She also worked at the former Drolet Hardware Co., Pawtucket, during the 1980s, in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island as a telephone operator during the 1970s, and was a hostess and waitress for the former Tops Gaylord Restaurant, Pawtucket, in the 1950s.
She is survived by three daughters, a sister, a granddaughter and her former husband.
