Alcie Faye Elliott, 89, of Skiatook, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007 at the Clarehouse in Tulsa.

She was born on Oct. 3, 1918 in Watts, Ark., to James A. and Callie (Rains) King. She grew up and received her education in the Rambo School. She married James S. Elliott on Jan. 28, 1946 in Sedan, Kan. They made their home in Hominy and lived in Skiatook since 1970. She was a homemaker. She was a caregiver for the elderly. In World War II, she helped build airplanes.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband, James S. Elliott; one brother; and one sister.

She is survived by three sons, James Neal Elliott and wife Patti of Ada, Joe Paul Elliott and wife Kasey of Catoosa, and Jack Otis Elliott of Portland, Ore.; two daughters, Barbara Sue Edwards of Washington and Jean Simmons of Irving, Texas; two sisters, Dolly Mae Baker and Ann Belle Treece, both of Marshall, Ark.; three grandchildren, Jennifer Elliott of Dallas, Jean Marie Alexander and husband Bill of Austin, and James Elliott and wife Lisa of Ada; 15 geat-grandchildren; longtime friend Dorlene Bearden of Skiatook, Shirley Crase and Myra and Bill Harry; a loving church family; the Smith family for their love and generosity; many other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts for the services were LeRoy LaCrone, Rick Reeves, Clyde Bowman, Roy Edwards, Cub Shelton and Jesse Madaffari.

Honorary casket escorts were Bill Harry, Jamie Elliott and Frank Smith.

Music selections were "What a Day That Will Be," "In the Sweet By and By" and "His Eye is on the Sparrow."

Funeral services and interment were under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
