Emilio F. Salvati of Yonkers died on Friday, October 30, 2015 at age 85. Born on October 20, 1930 to Ernesto and Erminia (Polito) in Malito Cosenza, Italy, where he was raised and educated. He came to America in 1964.Mr. Salvati was a self-employed painter and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church.On March 27, 1953 he married Maria Gagliardi in Italy, she survives. He is also survived by his four children; Erminia Cambareri, Lorella Colonna, Ernesto Salvati and Jaye Salvati, and his four grandchildren and one great-grandson and two sisters; Raffaella Angilletta and Pierina Mangini.
Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be in Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, November 5th at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery.
