Paul Houck Burrier, of Keymar, entered into eternal rest August 20 following a courageous two year battle with cancer.

He was the son of the late Clarence C. Burrier Sr. and Edna Houck Burrier.

Mr. Burrier had attended Elmer Wolfe School. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He was a lifelong dairy and beef farmer in the Detour area and retired from Willard Ag Services, Frederick, as a hauler/applicator. He also worked as a fuel truck driver for Frederick Petroleum. Mr. Burrier was a member of Carroll County Farm Bureau and the Frederick Moose #31. He was a life member of Rocky Ridge Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed fishing and camping.

He was the husband of Helen Ahn Burrier, his wife of 53 years, and surviving, in addition to her, are daughters, Joan C. Myers and Bonnie S. Burrier; son, Robert P. Burrier; grandchildren, Heather Schuerman, Amy Saunders, Tara Burrier, Jacob Myers, Jordan Peters, Brianna Myers, Katie Burrier, Cody Miller, Kaci Miller and Wesley Burrier; great-grandchildren, Cassandra Saunders, Alyssa Schuerman, Meghan Schuerman, Autumn Saunders, and Douglas C. Saunders Jr.; sister, Louise Grabill; brothers, Norman Burrier, C. Calvin Burrier, and Sterling Burrier; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Clifford Burrier.
